Welcome to the 6 Stake Dance Blog. On this blog you will find the information for the youth dances for the Arapahoe, Aurora, Columbine, Denver, Lakewood, and Littleton Stakes. Additional information will be published as it is necessary. Please check for dance dates, locations, and dress standards.

2009 Dance Schedule and Locations

All dances January-November are held from 8:00 PM until 11:00 PM
Parents should plan to arrive at the dance location NO LATER THAN 11:00 PM!

New Year's Eve dance will end at 12:30 AM.

2009 Youth Dance Dress Standards

These guidelines have been adopted by the Littleton, Lakewood, Columbine, Denver,
Arapahoe and Aurora Stakes and will apply to all participants at dances conducted by theses Stakes. These standards are to be maintained throughout the duration of the dance while on Church property.

Young Women
Do wear modest dresses or skirts (to the top of the knee). This includes skirts worn over leggings. Slits in skirts or dresses should not come above the knee.
Do wear nice pants - khakis, nice jeans (no holes/fraying, excessive fading, etc.).
o Pants and capris must be to mid calf at least.
Do wear shoes.
Please do not wear shorts, leather pants, sleeveless or backless tops, immodest necklines, tight fitting outfits, bare midriffs.
Please do not wear excessive make-up, hats/headware, or facial jewelry.

Young Men
Do wear modest, collared shirts.
Do wear nice pants - khakis and nice jeans (no holes/fraying, excessive fading, etc.).
Do wear shoes.
Please do not wear shorts, t-shirts, tank tops, muscle shirts, clothing with holes, military or gang-style clothing or boots.
Please do not wear hats/headware, facial jewelry, or earrings.

For the December New Year’s Dance, Sunday dress is required – slacks, collared shirt and tie for young men; a modest dress or skirt and blouse for young women.

Youth who do not meet dress standard will not be allowed admittance to Dance

If there is a medical emergency during a dance 911 will be called.
